Introduction

Pillar Digital Services (“Pillar,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides this Privacy Policy to describe how we collect, use, and disclose information in connection with the website located at pillardigitalservices.com (the “Site”). By using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.
This Policy applies only to the Site. It does not apply to websites we design, build, or manage on behalf of our clients. Each client pharmacy maintains its own privacy policy governing the collection and use of information through its own website.

Information we collect.

We collect the following categories of information from visitors to the Site:
Information you provide directly. When you submit our contact form, you provide your name, email address, pharmacy name, and the contents of your message. When you correspond with us by email, we collect the information contained in your messages and any attachments.
Information collected automatically. Our web host, SiteGround Hosting Ltd. (“SG Hosting”), records server log information when you visit the Site, including your Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type and version, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, and the date and time of your visit.
Analytics information. We use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC (“Google”), to collect information about how visitors use the Site. Google Analytics collects information such as page views, time on page, referring URLs, device and browser characteristics, and approximate geographic location derived from IP address. This information is collected through cookies and similar technologies.

How we use information.

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To respond to inquiries submitted through the contact form or by email.
  • To provide information, quotes, or services that you request.
  • To understand how visitors use the Site and to improve its content and performance.
  • To maintain the security of the Site and prevent abuse.

SiteGround Hosting Ltd. We use SG Hosting to host the Site. Server log information is processed and stored by SG Hosting.
WordPress plugins. The Site is built on WordPress and uses third-party plugins for functionality such as contact forms. These plugins may process information you submit through the Site.
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes.
We may disclose information when required by law, in response to valid legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Pillar, our clients, or others.

Data retention.

Contact form submissions are stored in the Site’s WordPress database and in our Gmail account. We retain these submissions for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry, fulfill any resulting business relationship, or comply with legal obligations. You may request deletion of your information at any time by emailing us at hello@pillardigitalservices.com.
Server logs and analytics data are retained according to the default retention periods of SG Hosting and Google, respectively.

Protected health information.

Pillar Digital Services is not a covered entity or business associate under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (“HIPAA”). The Site, including the contact form, is not intended for the submission of protected health information (“PHI”) or any other patient health information.
Do not submit PHI through the contact form, by email, or through any other channel on the Site. If PHI is inadvertently submitted to us, we will delete it and will not use the original channel to respond.

Children’s privacy.

The Site is directed to professional users, specifically owners and operators of independent community pharmacies. It is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us at hello@pillardigitalservices.comand we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

Security.

We take reasonable measures designed to protect information collected through the Site from loss, theft, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you by emailing hello@pillardigitalservices.com. We will respond to reasonable requests in accordance with applicable law.
You may opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or by disabling cookies in your browser.
You may unsubscribe from any future marketing emails by following the unsubscribe instructions in those messages or by contacting us directly.

Changes to this policy.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.
